Born Flower Garden Design

 

Born Flower is a garden design business run by Jane Kenny, based in Teddington, west London.  Jane’s maiden name was Flower, hence the name Born (née) Flower.

Jane believes gardens should be designed for both people and plants to flourish in. Gardens evolve as we do: from sandpits and swings to badminton and Bridge, from the daily commute to a stroll down to the garden studio, from no time at all to time to concentrate on the garden.

She is eager to tailor each design to the client’s needs and expectations, whilst taking great care to ensure the garden is not only beautiful but useable: the paths wide enough, dining areas generous, play spaces fun yet discreet and adaptable, and let’s make room to grow fruit and vegetables. 

In carefully assessing the various functions in relation to the buildings she creates a unified garden layout.  Jane then helps her clients to choose a palette of plants appropriate to the site, location and desired ambiance.  In sensitively combining plant colours, shapes and textures, she develops schemes that bring vitality to the garden.
